There are so many incredible coaches, teachers, and writers in the world. And there are just as many spaces to share your creative work.
But there are very few (if any) brands that bring together both.
Word & Sole was created with that sole purpose—to blend our Founder, Marisa Donnelly’s multiple passions, and cultivate a space that was not only dedicated to expert services but sharing, showcasing, and celebrating stories.
We are a services business, yes, but we are also a platform for people to submit, to network, to connect, and to grow. Hence the ‘Collective’—when we come together and share authentically, there is no limit to the impact.

Writing Coaching & Clarity Coaching
Our coaching programs were created to empower individuals—at any stage in their journeys—to hone in on their voice, define their purpose, and fearlessly pursue their passions. (And to do all of this without burning out.)
Our founder, Marisa Donnelly, MEd., a self-proclaimed “multipassionate” woman, knows firsthand the pressure and desire to ‘do’ and ‘be’ it all. Driven by her own journey, burnout, and re-healing, she created two distinct coaching programs to support creatives on their unique, perfectly-imperfect journeys.
TLDR; Word & Sole Coaching is focused on dream-chasing without the sacrifices that often accompany the ‘hustle culture.’
— Clarity Coaching is for anyone seeking direction, purpose, and focused inspiration. The purpose of this coaching program is to help individuals clearly define their goals, create a plan of action, and meaningfully move in their desired direction.
— Writing Coaching is primarily geared towards writers (at any stage) but does not focus on a certain content area or goal. This program is about guiding clients in discovering and/or strengthening their creative voice, developing their craft, and both creating (and crushing!) writing goals—all while developing a relationship with a hands-on, in-the-trenches coach.
